Bad Weather Policy

Our policy concerning the scheduling of Trinity Preschool and after school in the event of inclement weather is based on the operation of the public schools in Scotland County.

  • If the public schools announce a one-hour delay, Trinity Preschool will begin at its normal time of 9:00 am.
  •  If the public schools announce a two-hour delay, Trinity Preschool will being at 10:00 am.
  • If the public schools announce they will be closed due to the weather, Trinity Preschool will also be closed.

Please listen to WLNC radio station for any announcements about school scheduling.

Since one part of the county may be clear and another may have hazardous conditions, we encourage you to use your best judgment about whether or not to bring your child to preschool.

This policy is our attempt to do the best we can to meet the needs of both parents and children.
