PURPOSES
-
The main objective of this program
is to help the children develop a good self-image and to learn
more about themselves and their expanding world.
-
They will learn to play, share,
and work well with others.
-
They will begin to follow directions
and accept some responsibilities such as picking up toys and
cleaning up after snacks.
-
We will work on all forms of motor
development such as large and small muscle and eye-hand coordination.
-
We will provide sharing and creative
experiences to help develop verbalization and self-expression.
-
For those children who are ready,
we will offer opportunities to develop skills such as number
awareness, color recognition, basic shapes, and some basic
phonics.
-
The children will be learning more
about their world through field trips and direct experiences.
-
The children will be given opportunities
to learn from first hand experiences and to master skills
without undue pressure.
-
Most importantly, we will try to
make the whole preschool experience fun and exciting.

A good preschool program has three basic characteristics:
• it provides rich and varied learning experiences
• it is staffed by caring, informed and trained
adults
• it provides a physical environment which
is safe, attractive and promotes learning and healthy development
We feel that Trinity Preschool meets all of these requirements. Let’s
work together to provide your precious children with the best possible
preschool experience!
