TRINITY SCHOOLS ~ Easy Support Options & NEWS!
Hello Trinity Family! In a effort to keep you aware of our schools
growth and needs, we would like to share two exciting and simple
ways YOU can HELP our Schools.
1. Please consider “linking” your Harris Teeter VIC Card to 1363,
the Trinity Schools link. This is an awesome way to shop for Harris
Teeter brand names and have a portion donated directly to our
Schools here at Trinity. If you are already linked for another
school, you can link to other schools (like Trinity) and the
proceeds will be shared between the programs.
2. “Scrip” is another win-win program our schools are adopting. In a
nut shell, you purchase Gift-Cards to a huge selection of
retailers (Lowes, Belk, Wal-Mart, Bath and Body, and many, many
more) and by purchasing these gift cards through “Scrip” the
Trinity schools receive a percentage of monies. An example is if
I purchase a gift card to American Eagle for say $50.00, the schools
receive 10% from that sale for their needs or $5.00. You purchase
cards through Childcare families you know, or contact Shaunna Tobin
at 910-291-2737 or
cam08ash10@gmail.com
We hope you will consider these options of support for our Mission
of Trinity Schools!!!!
Peace to you all, Catherine K. Pinkston

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN'S News
***** ***** *****
The PW Circle of Seekers are anticipating an
exciting, refreshing and thought-provoking Bible Study. "Confessing
the Beatitudes" by Dr. Margaret Aymer, an ordained minister
of the Word and Sacraments and associate professor of New
Testament
and chair of Biblical Studies at the International Theological
Center in Atlanta, GA. She invites the reader to understand the
Beatitudes from a cultural and historical perspective by
introducing Greek definitions; example: instead of "Blessed be
the poor," she uses "Greatly Honored are the poor!" The study
challenges the readers, students, and seekers to be active in
what they confess.
If this introduction stimulates your interest
and curiosity, PLEASE join the Circle of Seekers beginning
SEPTEMBER 12 at 7:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Greatly Honored are
the Seekers!!!
A Circle Is
Where faith is nurtured and growth takes place through worship,
study, friendship and outreach.
Where women are challenged to stretch beyond their limits.
Where women move beyond the safe places of life and reach out to
others.
Where Christian leadership is born, nurtured, and sent forth into
ministry.
